Our Story
Life happens in moments — around tables, in conversations, in laughter. And yet, despite living in a hyper-connected world, meaningful connection and contributing to something bigger often feel harder than they should.
David and Iris, two friends working in the energy sector, felt exactly that tension. Both driven by the desire to build something meaningful alongside demanding jobs, they kept coming back to one simple truth: Impact doesn’t start with big systems — it starts with people sitting together.
They believed that it shouldn’t matter where you live, how busy you are, or how large your network is. Everyone should have access to moments that matter — moments that form friendships, spark conversations about real issues, and channel energy into something good.
From this belief came Dinner with Friends. A platform that makes it effortless to host small dinners, bring friends and friends-of-friends together, and collectively support charities chosen by the hosts. A space where connection, purpose, and impact meet at the same table.
David & Iris share a passion for building, for bringing people together, and for transforming everyday gatherings into meaningful contributions. Their backgrounds in the energy sector shaped their mindset: long-term thinking, systems that scale, and a belief that small actions, multiplied across many people, create real change.
Dinner with Friends is OUR way of making that belief tangible — one table, one conversation, one donation at a time.
